Certified Trainer & Nutritionist.
My Story.
My name is Alec Mills and my journey through life has brought me to my purpose of passing on my knowledge to empower people to achieve their best self through nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle improvements. I have always been somewhat mindful of what I am putting in my body, giving up McDonalds and most fast food at the ripe age of 10, taking supplements, and being active. But I had my fair share of struggles with physical, mental, and emotional distress early in life. Even up until a few years ago I was dealing with large amounts of anxiety and depression on a daily basis. I believe so strongly that Nutrition is the cure of all sickness because it has helped me make a complete 180º on how I perceive life. I went from no motivation, stressed, anxious, depressed, wondering why everything bad always happened to me, eating the ‘healthy’ DoorDash options 1-2 times a day, and in the gym 7 days a week, to a more balanced lifestyle of positive energy and direction in life, motivated, disciplined, focusing heavily on an animal based approach, cooking my own meals, in the gym 3-4 days a week and filling the gaps with activities I enjoy.
Everything in life is about making choices. Nothing is necessarily good or bad, but they all lead you to a different destination in life. It is for you to decide whether the path you’re on is the life you want to live, or if you need to make a right or left turn. There are many different routes everyone takes to achieving the life they desire and deserve, everyone is unique. The important thing is when you start taking steps in the right direction.
At first it can seem daunting, but small changes over a period of time can make a lifetime of difference. From personal experience, and from others I have helped along the way. The first step is having the motivation to change. From there, I will give you all the support and belief in the world to achieve the life you desire. I will be your accountability partner and keep you on our unique path.
It’s more than just physical appearance. Yes, that is a great secondary outcome, but the most important aspect of maintaining good health is to live the life you want, do what you want to do without anything holding you back. This could be anything from daily movements like getting out of bed, walking around the house, walking up and down the stairs, doing yard or house work, cooking, or carrying in the groceries, to partaking in your favorite activities like dance, yoga, recreational sports, or swimming, to emergency situations, or playing sports at a high level.
